ULTRA REEF by Ultra Pompe S.r.l.. Via Carlo Goldoni 37 20090 Trezzano sul Naviglio (Milano - Italia) P.IVA 00210510152 SDI t04zhr3

Company

Founded in 1957, our company designs and manufactures hydraulic and fluid power components for industrial applications. In 2011, Ultra Reef was established, bringing this expertise into the world of marine aquariums and aquaculture. All Ultra Reef products are designed, manufactured and assembled at our facility in Milan, Italy. Most components are produced in-house through CNC machining from solid PVC blocks, and our staff directly oversees every stage of production, maintaining full control over the entire manufacturing proces

Mechanical Heritage

Every Ultra Reef skimmer is based on a project developed in-house and refined over the years. We do not follow trends or introduce changes for commercial reasons: every evolution is adopted only when it represents a genuine improvement in terms of performance, reliability or ease of use. This philosophy is also reflected in our choice of materials. From titanium screws and food-grade certified adhesives to components compliant with the applicable UNI, EN and ISO standards, every detail is selected to ensure reliability, durability and long-term safety. Over the years, Ultra Reef has expanded its presence well beyond the Italian market, reaching customers and distributors worldwide.

Sustainable Production

On our own scale, we are committed to sustainability: during 2024, we phased out gas heating and installed a 62 kW photovoltaic system capable of covering a large part of our production's daytime energy demand through self-consumption, significantly reducing our reliance on electricity from the grid. Our products are manufactured from solid PVC and are designed to be repaired and kept fully efficient even after many years, while we strive to ensure backward compatibility between different product generations. This philosophy prioritizes durability, repairability and product continuity, as a way to counter the throwaway mentality typical of products developed with the sole objective of minimizing cost.
